Changing the Game: Nicole Lynn, Leading the Charge for Black Women in Sports

Having already broken down many barriers, Nicole Lynn has become the first Black woman to represent an NFL Quarterback in the Super Bowl.

The 34-year-old – one of the youngest in the industry – trailblazer graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a Doctor of Law [J.D.] with honors in 2015. While studying law, Lynn interned at the NFL Players Association. That same year she joined PlayersRep, which was later obtained by Young Money APAA Sports Agency, owned by rapper Lil Wayne.

In 2019, Nicole Lynn became the first black woman to acquire an NFL draft pick when she represented defensive tackle, Quinnen Williams. She was also featured in Glamour’s “Women of the Year” series.

The married Lynn would eventually go on to represent Philadelphia Eagles star quarterback Jalen Hurts in 2020. She currently has 19 NFL – standouts from the Denver Broncos, Oakland Raiders, and Washington Redskins – clients and even an ESPY-nominated Softball star, as well as a Ballerina from the famous American Ballet Theatre.

Nicole Lynn published an autobiography, Agent You, in 2021. In addition, she currently serves as the president of football operations for Klutch Sports Group.

50 Cent is producing a drama television series based on Nicole Lynn’s life and career for Starz. She will be an executive producer for the show. Lynn was also included in Worth’s “21 Most Powerful Women in the Business of Sports.”

Without any sign of hesitation present, Lynn professes, “The adversity I experienced as a child definitely shaped my mindset as an adult. I knew that I wanted to escape that life, and I had to work hard to do it. So I have always done just that. I owe every bit of success I’ve achieved to my extremely dedicated work ethic and my unwavering faith in God.”
